SAFA's mission is to alleviate oppressive poverty cycles in underserved communities through youth empowerment. We do this through financial & economic literacy alongside supplementing their education.
Our Purpose
The poverty trap represents the set of events likely to keep an individual in poverty unless an external force intervenes. SAFA hopes to act as that external force. We offer completely free of charge workshops that teach crucial economic topics to prepare the youth for the real world. Our workshops and publicly available curriculum help increase the potential for economic mobility under systems where generational poverty strengthens its grip on society.
